We Are a Venue, Not a Seller: "The Champion's Ledger" is an online venue that allows users to offer, sell, and buy livestock and equipment. We are not a party to any transaction and are not involved in the sale in any way. All transactions are conducted strictly between the buyer and the seller.
"Buyer Beware" Applies: We do not vet, endorse, guarantee, or certify any animals, equipment, or sellers in this group. We do not inspect items, guarantee their condition, or verify the claims made in any listing.
You Are Responsible for Your Own Safety: You are responsible for conducting your own research and "due diligence" before making a purchase. This includes verifying animal health records, genetics, and arranging for safe and secure payment and transportation. Use common sense and practice safe internet habits.
No Liability: "The Champion's Ledger" and its administrators are not responsible for and will not be held liable for any financial loss, damages, or disputes that may arise from a transaction initiated in this group. You agree to use this marketplace at your own risk.
Marketplace Group Rules
To keep this group fair, organized, and effective for everyone, all members must adhere to the following rules:
Required Information in Your Post: All "For Sale" listings MUST include:
Price: If you are open to offers, state "OBO" (Or Best Offer). No "PM for price."
Location: City and State are required for pickup and transport planning.
Photos/Videos: Clear, current photos or videos of the animal/item are mandatory.
Detailed Description: For animals, include breed, age/date of birth, registration status, and any relevant health/genetic info. For equipment, include condition and specifications.
No "Bumping" Posts Excessively: You may "bump" your post to the top of the feed by commenting on it once every 48 hours. Excessive bumping will result in post deletion.
Be Respectful - No Drama: All transactions and communications should be respectful. Publicly shaming a buyer or seller is not permitted. Handle disputes privately. If you suspect a scam, please report the post directly to an administrator.
Keep it Relevant: This group is for show livestock and related show equipment only. Off-topic posts will be removed.
Mark as SOLD: When your item is sold, please edit your post and write "SOLD" at the top or delete the post. This keeps the feed clean.
Admin Rights: Administrators reserve the right to remove any post or member for any reason without notice.
